THE VIKING TOURNAMENT IN THAILAND
|
|
The last weekend of Marsh the Viking Tournament was held in Phuket,
Thailand. Hanoi was represented by the mighty Hanoi Capitals Football
Club (as Hanoi Vikings) with some strong support from the Drink
Team. After a bad start followed by some injuries they managed
to get the team together and finally ended up on a good third
place.

WHERE DO WE PUT ALL OUR TROPHY´S?
|
|
Ever since the Club was founded in 1994 there has been a search
for a good place to put (all) our Trophy´s. Lets say a friendly
place were you can have a beer and watch Saturday football or
have a lunch with some of the guys. There might be an opening
at Church Street Bar and Grill.

THE PITCH
|
|
We usually play all our games at Thuy Loi
pitch in the southern parts of Hanoi. It belongs to the Thuy Loi
University and you can reach it by taking one of the alleys from
Chua Boc street (Dong Da district).

AMAZING STATISTICS
|
|
There have been someone keeping an eye on statistics right from
the start of the Club in 1994. At the last 6 month meeting Jonathan
Dunn (head of accounting and statistics) showed some remarkable
figures for a stunning audience. Who has a striking average of
1.52 goals a game? Who played the most games and how many different
players have been playing for the Capitals?

6 MONTH MEETING
|
|
The 6 month meeting was held at Au Délice (the butcher
from Belgium). All to all there were 12 people at the meeting.
Everyone had steak except for Justin and Klaus who tried the fish.
You can find meeting minutes at the meeting page.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO WIN?
|
|
The Capitals keep on winning! You maybe heard that before but
now we are undefeated since November 2001. Since we have played
more then 20 teams during this period we are quit pleased with
the teams performance.

ABOUT THE WEBSITE
|
|
This website is first launched at April 8, 2002. We hope that
it will bring you some interesting information about our Club
but also to bring old Capitals players together. Because its like
the French say "Capital un jour Capital Toujours!" or
"putain" which is slightly more used!
